Spa Etiquette


Help us keep The Spa a sanctuary of tranquility and relaxation. Please respect the quiet and privacy of other spa guests by refraining from cell phone use and silencing all electronic equipment while at The Spa. We ask that you speak softly or simply enjoy the peacefulness. The Spa is a smoke free environment.



Arrival


Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your treatment to allow for a leisurely check-in and enjoy light refreshments. Arriving late will simply limit the time for your treatment. Your treatment will end on time so the next guest is not delayed. The full value of your treatment will be charged. Upon arrival at The Spa, you will be asked to complete a brief health form to assist the Spa therapists in providing you the best experience possible. We encourage you to disclose any pertinent health conditions that may affect your treatment. 


Spa Admission & Use


Adult spa services are available to guests ages 18 and over. Special consideration will be determined for young individuals' requesting age appropriate spa services listed on our website. Any reservations for ages 18 and under require a predetermined parental consent. For ages 4-12, a parent must also be on-site  *When booking services for a minor, make it known to the reservationist at the time of booking.


Spa Attire


Complimentary use of spa robes and sandals are provided for guests receiving multiple services. Our staff is professionally trained in proper draping to ensure modesty and comfort throughout your treatment. Most body treatments are enjoyed without clothing however disposable undergarments are available upon request.

Valuables


Please do not bring jewelry or other valuables to The Spa & Salon. We suggest that you keep any valuables with you during the time of service, as we do not provide locker storage and are unable to replace any items.


Special Health Considerations


Please notify the Spa Reservationist if you have high blood pressure, allergies, physical ailments or disabilities. While a few services should be avoided during pregnancy, there are treatments that can be enjoyed.  When making your appointment, please notify the booking agent if you are pregnant so he or she can offer guidance. 


Guest Preferences & Considerations


This is your time and you should delight in the spa experience to the fullest. Whether the room temperature, the amount of massage pressure or the volume of the music, please notify your therapist of any discomfort or preferences. 

Shaving is recommended but not necessary for men prior to a facial. If you choose to shave prior to your facial, be sure to do so at least two hours prior to your appointment. Shaving is not recommended prior to pedicures, body treatments or hair removal services.


Advance Appointments


Whether you are staying in the resort,  visiting the high country, or live in the area, we strongly recommend making your Spa reservations 3-6 weeks in advance to ensure availability for specific preferences particularly during peak season (May-October).

* If you strictly prefer a male or female therapist, please make your gender request when scheduling your treatment.




 Cancellation Policy 

(Individual Services)

As a courtesy to other spa guests and our staff, we kindly ask for a minimum of 24 hour notice for a change or cancellation of existing individual reservations excluding groups and day packages. For any appointment canceled within 24 hours of the scheduled time, the responsible party will be charged for the reserved service or services  booked. We value our staff, and our cancellation policy reflects a guarantee they will be paid for the dedicated time and service they provide for us. 

Cancellations for all individual bookings require a 24-hour notice to avoid being charged the full service fee.

 *A credit card number is required at the time you book your treatments.



Cancellation Policy 
(Groups and Day Packages)


For your convenience,  a 20% gratuity will be added to the 100% non-refundable payment at the time of reservation for all group bookings and day packages. Please feel free to make an adjustment based on the service that you experienced. 


  • 48-Hour Cancellation Policy when booking more than 2 service hours.



  • 7-Day Cancellation Policy on all Groups of 5 or more (up to 8 service hours) and Day Packages greater than 4 hours.  In the event a group cancels within the 7-day period, payment made to the spa is non-refundable; however you may transfer your group to an alternate date within a 6-month period.



  • 14-Day Cancellation Policy on Wedding Parties and Groups of 8 or more. If changes are made within the 14-day window of services, you will be charged a non-refundable $20 administrative fee for each occurrence in group schedule altercations. In the event a group cancels within the 14-day period, payment made to the spa is non-refundable; however you may transfer your group to an alternate date within a 6-month period.
